We’re the Larsons – a fifth-generation farm family in Sherman County, Nebraska, where we grow corn, soybeans, and raise Black Angus cattle. Nathan farms alongside his dad, Carl, carrying on the work built by generations before them. Carl and his wife, Jolie, remain hands-on in the daily operation, sharing their experience and working right alongside us.
Our home is just down the road from Carl and Jolie’s, where Nathan and his wife, Katie, are raising their daughter, Ada Jo, to be part of this way of life. Diamond Seven Beef takes its name from our family cattle brand — a simple diamond over a seven — a symbol that represents our history, our values, and the pride we take in raising quality beef.
We raise Black Angus cattle right here on the farm and calve in the winter. From birth through finishing, we handle every part of their care ourselves — feeding, checking, and watching over them every single day and night. Their health and comfort matter to us because we know how cattle are raised makes a difference in the beef you put on your table.
The beef we sell is the same beef we serve to our own family. It’s dry-aged from 21 days, carefully cut, and packed with pride. When you buy from Diamond Seven Beef, you’re getting more than just a great product – you’re supporting a local family that takes pride in doing things right.
